Dmanisi District

Dmanisi (Georgian: დმანისის მუნიციპალიტეტი) is a district of Georgia, in the region of Kvemo Kartli. Its main town is Dmanisi. There are 59 settlements in the municipality: 1 town and 58 villages.

Demographics

The population is 28,034 according to the 2002 census. The ethnic composition is 31.2% Georgian, 66.7% Azerbaijani. The population density is 23 people per square kilometer. The area is 1198.8[1][2] km²
