Doina Ruşti is a Romanian writer,[1] screenwriter and film director.[2] Some of her novels are: Fantoma din moară (The Ghost of the Mill), 2008, an ample novel about the Romanian communism,[3] awarded the Proze Prize of the Romanian Writers’Union,[4] Zogru, 2006, republished in Top 10+Collection, 2013, Lizoanca la 11 ani (Lizoanca at the age eleven), 2009, received the Romanian Academy Award Ion Creanga. Her publisher is Polirom.[5] The latest novel is Manuscrisul fanariot (The Phanariot Manuscript), 2015[6][7][8][9][10][11]
