Douglas George Ross (born October 9, 1951 in Dearborn, Michigan) is a retired American college ice hockey player and former college ice hockey head coach. Ross spent 25 seasons as the head coach at the University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1982-2007. Ross also coached at Ohio University and Kent State. Ross became head coach at the starting in the 1982 season.

Under Ross, UAH won two National Club Championships (1983 and 1984) and two NCAA Division II national championships (1996 and 1998).
