Draft:Bedford–Monroe football rivalry

The Bedford vs Monroe is a High school football rivalry. The winner gets The Golden Cleat Award. The first game they played against each other back in 1969. They did not play each other for twittery four years because Bedford was in the Great Lakes League that was part of the OHSAA. Bedford join the MHSAA in 2000. The Mules and Trojans went on and off playing each other until Monroe join the league in 2009 and they face each other every year since. When the Mules beat the Trojans in the 2009 matchup by the score of 28–21 after the game there was a rumor about the trophy and nobody from Bedford has seen it since the last time they did was back in 1975. Monroe had lost it they put it in the closet and didn't know were it was anymore. The football coach's at the time at Bedford insisted that they find it and they did and they start playing for it again.
