Brayan Antonio Rivas Ariza (born January 18, 2007, in Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia), professionally known as Brayan Rivas, is a Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer, and producer.[1] He is recognized for his contributions to the Latin pop, reggaeton, and urban music genres. Rivas gained prominence as a solo artist and as a member of the music group MXTA.[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Brayan Rivas was born in Santa Marta, Colombia. From an early age, he exhibited a strong interest in music and performing arts. In 2018, he began his formal training at BKLF Entertainment, where he honed his skills in singing, dancing, and music production.[3]
Career
[edit]Rivas debuted professionally on November 15, 2021, with the single "Feels". Shortly after, he joined MXTA, a music group established by BKLF Entertainment.[4] As the group's lead vocalist, rapper, and dancer, he played a pivotal role in their rise to fame. MXTA's notable releases include the single "Intro" (2022) and the collaborative track "Motel".[5]
In 2023, Rivas released his first studio album, "B21", which combined urban and Latin influences. The album earned him recognition as a rising talent in the Colombian music scene.
Musical style and influence
