Cara.app is a photo and video sharing social networking service and portfolio app owned by CARA Project. It was created in 2023[2] by Jingna Zhang, Katie Borisov and Jake RT, and released in open beta as a platform for artists to share and promote their art safe from Artificial Intelligence. This is acieved by banning the use of AI and the publication of AI-generated artwork that isn't clearly labeled as such on the platform, and through integration of Glaze [3], a freeware program that prevents AI from successfully being trained on "glazed" artwork, into the app's functions.
