Aashish Dahal, known professionally as DJ Aacis, is a Sydney Based Nepali disc jockey, record producer and record executive. Originally, resident DJ at Privé Nepal and Club Déjà Vu, Aacis has become known for his extraordinary perfomances and his extensive curation with high profile international artists like Timmy Trumpet, Good Times Ahead, Nicky Romero, Sick Individuals, DYRO, BassJackers and more in Kathmandu.
Early life
[edit]DJ Aacis was born in Kathmandu in 1996 in a very typical middle class family. His family has no musical background but Aacis stated showing interest in music from very early age while hanging out with people with interest in music.
Career
[edit]After coming in contact with DJ Punit who later became his mentor he formally started his musical career. His first known performance was DJing in a pool party at The International Club, Sanepa. Soon he was offered contract by Club Déjà Vu and later by Privé Nepal.

[edit]DJ Aacis is very popular in Kathmandu for his extraordinary high energy performance during Holi Fest Kathmandu.

Beyond the club scene, Aacis also made waves in the television industry as the official DJ of Nepal's first rap reality show, Nephop Ko Sripech, showcasing his versatility and adaptability as an artist.
Current
[edit]Recently Aacis moved to Sydney, Australia looking for opportunities to grow internationally and has setup his own production house in Sydney.
