GenX Radio Suffolk is the local radio station for Suffolk, UK and was launched January 22nd 2022.
The station was originally on-line only but began broadcasting on DAB+ on the Muxco Suffolk Multiplex in October 2022 and plays music aimed at Generation X along with local news, travel and features.
GenX was set up by radio veteran James Hazell based on the 'remote' model where presenters broadcast from their own studios via a 320k aac link and bespoke softwares.
The radio station operates 24 hours a day and its base of operations is in Ipswich, UK
