Jagadeesh Krishnamurthy DOB- 08th March, 1988

MBBS from BMCRI (Bengaluru Medical College & Research Institute) (2005-2011)

MS (General Surgery) from one of India’s premier medical institute- PGIMER (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research), Chandigarh. (2012-2015)

FACS – ASTS Multi organ transplantation Fellowship in Kidney , Liver , Pancreas and Intestine Transplant at University of Miami / JMH , Miami .USA ; (2018- 2020 )

Teaching experience

•Involved in the weekly tutorials, journal clubs, lectures and case discussions in General surgery and other surgical specialties, whilst working at PGIMER, Chandigarh , MAX hospital , Saket and MTI, Miami •Teaching undergraduate students, junior residents and paramedical staff during my surgical training.

CERTIFIED Robotic surgeon Da Vinci Xi - independently doing Robotic liver resection , ALPPS, Cholecystectomy , choledochal cyst excision Laparoscopic trained surgeon operating donor hepatectomies, donor nephrectomies, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, adhesiolysis, hydatid cyst excision ,

Independently done deceased donor organ procurements (Brain death +DCD), Kidney transplants, open nephrectomies, Liver biopsy, recipient hepatectomies and liver transplant implantation under supervision. Largest kidney-pancreas transplant program in USA with > 500 kidney transplants per year , 80-90 living donor renal transplantation being done every year. Has been trained to do hand assisted living donor nephrectomies and also finishing ASTS living donor workshop and certification.

MTI is also no-1 in USA in Intestine and Multi visceral transplantation over many years. Exposure to these bowel rehab and bowel transplant patients and surgery us in elite group of transplant community who can manage these patients worldwide. Managed Surgical ICU where we are responsible for the immediate post-operative care of all transplant patients and have great critical care training with transplantation.
