Jeremy Ryan Popp-Skalski in an amateur athlete and former council member at the Ottawa Catholic School Board

in June of 2022, he went on the

Montreal , Quebec, Canada. Popp-Skalski is enrolled in Mathematics and Statistics. During his time on the Council, Jeremy Popp-Skalski made many meaningful contributions including funding the addition of vehicles to help in the running of several Council sanctioned activities. He also was a member of the team that was responsible for rejuvenated students spirit and attendance while in high school. The council that Jeremy was a member has been blamed for ending The Oscars
in the rural Ottawa south town of
Manotick . In his athletic prime, Jeremy was a key contributor to the 2019-2020 Ottawa Valley High School Football
championship Lions. He went on the Start for the 21-22' season before suffering a career ending Shoulder injury in week 2 of the season. The team continued to push forward without his field presence and win another championship. Younger members of the team attribute the teams success to Popp-Skalski's off-field leadership. Although he was a football prodigy, where he truly shined was in
Basketball . Being a strong leader on and off the court from the 2016-2017 Season, at St. Mark High School, until the 2021-2022 season. In his final season with the Lions, Popp-Skalski was a major contributor in the Cookie Jar Championship of Ottawa basketball
and was awarded the Coach's Choice Award for his strong leadership.
Early Life[edit]
Jeremy was born in Ottawa , Ontario. He spent his early life at St. Clair Elementary in Orleans , Ottawa. At the age of seven, Jeremy moved across the city to Greely, Ontario . Here is where he spent the rest of his upbringing and became a member of the Ottawa Catholic School Board Student Council.
