Kings War was a play-by-mail game[1] published by Schubel & Son.
Gameplay
[edit]Kings War was "a game of medieval conquest" with the end goal to conquer all 15 available kingdoms.[2] The game was human moderated.[2] A total of fifteen players could play the game, each playing a kingdom comprising "a castle province, five town provinces, and a region each of mountains, swamps, forest, and fields" for a total of 150 provinces in the game.[2]
Reception
[edit]Stewart Wieck, the editor-in-chief of White Wolf magazine reviewed the game in the December 1988 issue, concluding that it was a "fine game" but that the fees were overly expensive.[2] Wieck gave the game an overall rating of 3 out of 10.[2]
