NOXGAMES is a creative indie game development studio based in Brno, Czech Republic. Since its founding in 2005, the team has developed over 150 games, focusing on fun, humor, and engaging gameplay. NOXGAMES specializes in mobile gaming, with popular titles spanning various genres, available on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and web gaming platforms like CrazyGames.

History

NOXGAMES, an indie game development studio based in Brno, Czech Republic, was founded in 2005 by brothers Jiří Bukovjan and Petr Bukovjan.^[1] Initially focusing on Flash games, the team achieved early recognition by securing third place in the Becherovka Game competition in both 2005 and 2007 with their games "Becheryba" and "Drunken Rabbit". In 2009, they won first place with "Green Archer".

In 2014, NOXGAMES transitioned from Flash to mobile gaming, releasing their first successful mobile game, "Puppet Soccer 2014". This marked a significant milestone, expanding their team and portfolio. By 2015, the company was featured in the gaming magazine LEVEL and had grown to four members.^[2]

The popularity of "Puppet Soccer" soared, being showcased at the Czech national house during the 2016 Olympics in Rio. By 2018, the team attended the international gaming conference "Reboot Develop" with an expanded team of eight. In 2019, NOXGAMES further grew and added the Merger franchise to their portfolio.^[3]

In 2020, they reached a significant milestone with over 100 million downloads. By 2022, the team continued to expand, and in 2023, they sponsored the Game Access conference in Brno. As of 2024, NOXGAMES has moved to a new office and continues to grow significantly.^[4]
