Patrick Malkassian is an American businessman known for his work in agriculture, real estate investment, and film production. He is the founder and owner of Ropama, a company specializing in the trade of premium leathers, and the chairman and managing director of RAM & East Oakland Prop Group, Inc.

Patrick Malkassian was born on Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland and later earned a Bachelor's degree in History from UCLA.

Malkassian founded Ropama, an international agriculture holding company specializing in the procurement and distribution of premium leathers to top couture brands in France and Italy. He also operates USDA meat facilities in California and Texas.
Real Estate Investment[edit]
As the chairman and managing director of RAM & East Oakland Prop Group, Inc., Malkassian focuses on multi-family apartments and commercial holdings in the Bay Area.
Film Production[edit]
In 2023, Malkassian produced "Amerikatsi," the Armenian submission to the Academy Awards, alongside Emmy Award-winning actor Michael Goorjian.
Personal Life[edit]
Malkassian moved to France in 2008 with his family for business development. He is married and has two daughters. His hobbies include gym training, surfing, and skiing.
Philanthropy and Community Engagement[edit]
He is a board member of the Near East Foundation and is involved in film production with a focus on affordable housing in Oakland.
