Poppy Playtime is an upcoming horror film based on the eponymous video game developed and published by Mob Entertainment, who will produce the film with Legendary Pictures, Angry Films and Studio71. The film will set within the universe of the game series as a stand-alone story to the original.

[edit]In April 2022, a film adaptation of the then-newly released video game, Poppy Playtime, was announced with game developer/publisher Mob Entertainment (then known as Mob Games) and frequent collaborator Studio71 reported to produce the project, while producer Roy Lee was in talks to be attached to the project, and was confirmed to be "stand-alone" to its source material.[1] On May 7, 2024, Legendary Entertainment has signed a deal to Mob Entertainment on the film with Don Murphy and Susan Montford producing under their company Angry Films.[2]
