SS Tionesta was a passenger ship that sailed with her 2 sister ships, Octorara and Juniata, and traveled on all of the Great Lakes except for Lake Ontario. The vessel was scrapped in 1940.

History

[edit]

In December 1902, Tionesta was launched in Wyandotte, and in May 1936 the ship was pulled from service as it was not considered worthy enough to keep paying modification costs for the ship. The ship laid in Buffalo until 1940, where it was sold for scrap.[1] No pictures exist of the scrapping.
