Samuél Lopez-Barrantes (born 1988 in Ganges, France) is a Spanish-American writer based in Paris.
His first novel Slim and The Beast[2] was published by Inkshares in 2015. His second novel, The Requisitions[3] was published independently in 2024 by his own imprint Kingdom, Anywhere, which he started with his wife, the photographer, Augusta Sagnelli.
From 2015 - 2022, Samuél was a leading member of the Paris-based indie-pop band, Slim and The Beast[4] in which he was a lead vocalist, pianist and harmonica player.
Samuél lives in Paris, where he gives literary walks and co-hosts the Paris Writers' Salon with author, John Baxter.[1]

The Requisitions (Kingdom Anywhere, 2024). A historical metafiction set in Łódź, Poland during the Nazi Occupation.[3]
