Scudder's Mills - also known as "Aqueduct Mills" - was an uncorporated community straddling either side of the Millstone River, west of Route 1, and thus partly in West Windsor Township and partly in Plainsboro Township. This community developed starting in the mid-1700s and grew around the mill industry there, which was powered by the Millstone River.
