Stonebranch, Inc is a privately held software company with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The company offers a service orchestration and automation platform.^[1], and works in the areas of job scheduling and workload automation^[2], cloud computing automation, IT infrastructure automation^[3], data pipeline orchestration, and orchestration (computing)^[1]

Stonebranch's global headquarters are in Atlanta, GA. Their European headquarters are based out of Frankfurt, Germany. Employees are distributed across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.

History:

Stonebranch was founded in 1999. Their initial product offering was Indesca, which was re-branded as the Universal Agent. In 2003, Stonebranch launched Infitran, which was rebranded as Universal Data Mover.

In 2011, Stonebranch merged with OpsWise. The OpsWise Automation Center was a job scheduling and workload automation platform. Opswise Automation Center was re-branded as the Universal Controller.

In 2014, the Stonebranch portfolio of applications were brought together as an integrated platform called Universal Automation Center (UAC).

In 2017, Stonebranch acquired Daring*

In 2021, Stonebranch launched the Universal Integration Platform.

Universal Automation Center (UAC): Stonebranch platform, which includes the below components.
- Universal Controller (initially released as Automation Center in 2008) - Web-based application that manages and automates workloads.
- Universal Agent (UA) (initially released as Indesca in 1999) - Application designed to connect and control automation within third-party applications.
- Universal Data Mover (UDM) (initially released as Infitran in 2003) - A sub-component of the Universal Agent, UDM is a managed file transfer (MFT) solution.
- Universal Integration Platform (UIP) (initially released in 2021) - A platform used to connect UAC with third-party applications.
- Universal Data Mover Gateway (UDMG) (initially released in 2022) - provides B2B managed file transfers (MFT) between trading partners.
