Eşref Kolçak (born 28 January 1927) is a Turkish actor. He is father of the musician Harun Kolçak.

Biography

Eşref Kolçak was born in Erzurum but at the age of 14, his family moved to İstanbul. He studied at the Sultan Ahmet Arts Institute. In 1944, he appeared in his first play at the Atilla Review. In 1947, he made his film debut and went on to appear in over 180 films and series. Kolçak won a Golden Orange in 2000 for his performance in Güle Güle.[1]
