Edmundo Carvajal Airport[3] (Spanish: Aeropuerto "Coronel Edmundo Carvajal"[4]) (IATA: XMS, ICAO: SEMC), also known as Macas Airport, is an airport serving Macas,[1] a city in the province of Morona-Santiago in Ecuador. The airport is named for Edmundo Carvajal Flores, a former commander of the Ecuadorian Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Ecuatoriana).

Facilities

The airport resides at an elevation of 3,452 feet (1,052 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 01/19 with an asphalt surface measuring 8,202 by 98 feet (2,500 m × 30 m).[1]
