Bronze medal – third place 1928 Amsterdam Shot put

Emil Hirschfeld (July 31 1903February 23 1968) was a German athlete who mainly competed in the shot put.

He was born in Danzig and died in East Berlin.

Hirschfeld competed for Germany at the 1928 Summer Olympics held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where he won the bronze medal in the men's shot put event. At the 1932 Summer Olympics he finished fourth in the shot put and 13th in the discus throw.
