Everett M. Yon was a college athletics administrator. Yon was athletic director at his alma mater, the University of Florida, from 1925 to 1928,[1] and later president of its booster club.[2] Yon played for the Florida Gators football team in 1914 and 1915, and the Gators baseball team in 1915 and 1916. His career was cut short when he was called by the National Guard to defend the Mexican border.[3] Yon then returned to the university as a U.S. Army captain and ROTC instructor.
