Expanded Universe, The New Worlds of Robert A. Heinlein is a 1980 collection of stories and essays by Robert A. Heinlein.[1] The trade paperback 1981 edition lists the subtitle under other Heinlein books as More Worlds of Robert A. Heinlein because the contents subsume the 1966 Ace Books collection, The Worlds of Robert A. Heinlein. The current volume is dedicated to William Targ.

When divided into two volumes, Volume 1 concludes with "On the Slopes of Vesuvius",[2] and Volume 2 picks up with "Nothing Ever Happens on the Moon".[3]
