Faith in Strangers is the fourth studio album by ambient techno musician Andy Stott . The album was released in 2014 under the Modern Love label. The album received critical acclaim and was named the 45th best album of the year by Pitchfork Media ,[ 14] as well as having the title track "Faith in Strangers" given Best New Track and placed at number 81 on their list of the 100 best tracks of 2014.[ 15] As with Stott's previous album Luxury Problems , Faith in Strangers also incorporates vocals from his former piano teacher, Alison Skidmore.[ 10]
