Fakhr al-Din (Arabic: فخر الدين) is a Muslim male given name and, in modern usage, surname meaning pride of the religion (islam).[1][2] Alternative transliterations include Fakhruddin , Fakhreddin, Fakhreddine, Fakhraddin, Fakhruddin etc.
