Career

Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Olivella began playing youth football for UD Poble Sec and FC Barcelona. He played professionally for España Industrial and Barcelona.[1]

He earned 18 caps for the Spain national football team, and was their captain when they won the 1964 UEFA European Football Championship. He also participated in the 1966 FIFA World Cup.
