Rimavska Sobota District in the Banská Bystrica region

Figa is a village and municipality in the Rimavská Sobota District of the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia.

History

In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1294 (1294 Fygey, 1409 Felsewfygey). From 1938 to 1945 it belonged to Hungary.
