Flaked is an American comedy web television series that stars Will Arnett, who developed it alongside the creator/executive producer of Arrested Development, Mitch Hurwitz.[2][3] The first season consisted of eight episodes, which were released simultaneously worldwide on March 11, 2016.[4] In July 2016, the series was renewed for a six-episode second season,[5] which premiered on June 2, 2017.[6]
Columnist Cindy Elavsky describes the show as being about "a self-help guru named Chip who's struggling to stay a step ahead of his own lies."[7]

Reception
The first season received mixed reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the season has an approval rating of 42%, based on reviews from 26 critics, with an average rating of 5.12/10. The site's critical consensus reads, "Dull and pointless, Flaked makes it uncomfortably clear that the man-child persona is no longer compelling."[11] On Metacritic, the season has a score of 43 out of 100, based on reviews from 16 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[12]
The show was criticized by Vox for "stupid plot twists" and devolving into melodrama.[13]
