Freekey Zekey

Ezekiel Giles (born October 13, 1975) better known by his stage name Freekey Zekey, is an african-american rapper best known as president of Diplomat Records.[1] Zekey was shot on April 25 2003.[2] He spent almost three years in jail at Durham Correctional Center in Durham, NC on drugs charges before being released on November 20 2006.[3][4] He signed a multi-million one-album deal with Asylum Records in December 2006[5] and released his debut solo album, titled Book of Ezekiel on July 24 2007. On April 15, 2008, Freekey Zekey was involved in a three car accident in East Harlem. Despite being thrown from his vehicle, the rapper suffered only minor injuries.

In early 2008, Freekey joined his fellow Diplomat Jim Jones' new group Byrd Gang.

Currently Freekey Zekey signed to Big Cat Records. Big Cat records is an Atlanta based company. Big Cat will help launch Dip Set South.

Unreleased album

Right before Jiles ended up in jail, he was working on what was to be his solo debut, Stop Calling, named after a song in Cam'ron's 2002 release Come Home With Me. Scheduled for release mid-2003, the album was never completed due to his incarceration.
