Georgios Achilleos (born December 24, 1980) is a Cypriot sports shooter and past World Champion. He won the gold medal in Skeet Shooting at the 2007 World Championships and a silver medal in the 2009 World Championships.[1] He also won the gold medal in Skeet Shooting Men’s team event at the 2007 World Championships.[2]

He has represented Cyprus in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games ranking 23rd, 2004 Athens Olympic Games ranking 9th and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games where he ranked 5th. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London he finished in 11th place.[3]

He was the flag bearer for Cyprus at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics, while he was also chosen to carry the flag in the 2012 Olympics, but due to the early start of the skeet event, he opted not to attend the opening ceremony. Marcos Baghdatis went on to carry the flag in the London Olympic Stadium.
