Gilbert Heathcote (priest)

The Ven Gilbert Heathcote , MA (1775 – 1829) was Archdeacon of Winchester from 1814 until his death.[1]
A younger son of Sir Thomas Heathcote, 2nd Baronet (of Hursley)[2] he was educated at Winchester College and New College, Oxford.[3] He held livings at Hursley and Andover; and was appointed Treasurer of Wells in 1814.[4]
He died on 19 October 1929.[5] Two of his sons became Anglican clergymen.[6][7]
