Giorgio Venturin (born 9 July 1968 in Bollate, Province of Milan) is an Italian former football midfielder.

Career

Venturin started his playing career in the Torino youth system, being then loaned for a season at Serie B side Cosenza in 1988, He returned to Torino in 1989 playing 28 matches with a single goal. After a single season at Napoli, he returned once again in Turin and played three season campaigns with the granata. During his stay with Torino, he received his one and only cap with the Italian team in 1992. On 1994 he moved at Lazio, where he played until January 1999, excepting a loan spell at Cagliari in 1995. He left Lazio to join La Liga side Atlético Madrid during the 1998-1999 winter transfer market. He returned in Italy in 2000 to play for his early club Torino. He finally left Torino in 2002 to sign for Taranto and retired in 2005 after two seasons with Lodigiani of Serie C2, where he is currently involved in its youth system.[1]
