The 17th Dáil was elected at the 1961 general election on 4 October 1961 and first met on 11 November when the 10th Government of Ireland was appointed. The 17th Dáil lasted for 1,281 days.

10th Government of Ireland

The 10th Government of Ireland (11 November 1961 – 21 April 1965) was formed by the Fianna Fáil party.[1]
