Lindsay Jackson "Happy" Perry, Sr. was an American football coach in the United States.[1] He graduated from Elon in 1923, with a Bachelor of Arts degree.[2] His hometown was Wingate, North Carolina.

Coaching career

Perry was the head college football coach for the Elon Phoenix located in Elon, North Carolina. He held that position for the 1946 and 1947 seasons.[3] His coaching record at Elon was 8 wins, 11 losses and 1 tie.As of the conclusion of the 2013 season, this ranks him #14 at Elon in total wins and #13 at the school in winning percentage (.425).[4][5]
