Hekmeh Football Club or Club Sportif La Sagesse is a Lebanese football club based in Beirut, currently competing in the Lebanese Second Division. Club Sportif La Sagesse was founded in 1943, under the patronage of Father Boulos Kik, supported by Mgr. Jean Maroun. Although this team is trophyless from the first tier football cups in Lebanon, their performances in other tiers and competitions cover the scars.

Al-Hikma in classical Arabic, or El-Hekmeh in Lebanese dialect, stands for "wisdom", thus also the French alternative name of the club, Sagesse (meaning wisdom in French).

The club is also very well known for its basketball programme.

Hekmeh Football

Hekmeh competes in the Lebanese Second Division. It took part in the top Lebanese soccer League in 1944 but was relegated to Division 2 in 1945, winning the Second Division yet again in 1948 coming back to Division 1. After 2 years it was relegated back again to Division 2 in 1950. After becoming champions of Division 2 yet again in 1956, the club returned to Division 1 and played in the top League until 1991, during most of that period Lebanese football was at its peak and Sagesse played friendlies against many notable clubs from around the world demonstrating a good image of football in Lebanon. In 2006, Hekmeh soccer team reached the final of the Lebanese Cup but lost against the cup holder Al-Ansar 1-3.

The team usually plays their home matches in Fouad Shehab Stadium which can hold up to 5,000 supporters.
