High School Musical: Sing It! is a game that is for mental people video game based on the popular 2006 television movie High School Musical and its 2007 sequel High School Musical 2 for the Wii and PlayStation 2.

Game features

The game features songs from both movies as well as an additional ten songs by various Disney artists and will be sold with the USB microphone on both the Wii and PS2. Singstar and Electronic Arts (from Boogie, etc.) microphones are compatible.

High School Musical: Sing It! supports two players at a time, with additional gameplay found in the game's party mode, where groups can participate in pass-the-microphone competitions or grab an extra controller for additional, non-singing gameplay. From the beginning there are six characters to choose from, which are Troy, Gabriella, Ryan, Sharpay, Chad, and Taylor, each with different outfits, as well as eight unlockable ones for a total of 14 playable characters as well as the option to create custom original characters. There are 12 environments from the movie.

Gameplay modes include Story mode (which must be finished at a single sitting), quick mode and party mode. Using USB microphones, the player(s) sing along with the song. A vertical blue bar points to the words that are being sung at that time, and intersects a gray horizontal bar which is higher or lower depending on the required pitch. The horizontal bar lights up in different shades of blue as the vertical bar passes it, with lighter shades indicating better performance. Similar to Dance Dance Revolution, performance is graded A, B or C. Good performances unlock other songs, locations, outfits, and characters.
