Holloways Beach is a suburb 12 minutes drive north of the centre of Cairns City, Queensland, Australia. At the 2011 Australian Census the suburb recorded a population of 2,283.[1]
The south west of the suburb is bounded by the Captain Cook Highway. In the east close to the beach the land-use is mostly residential while the west is predominantly farms.
Facilities
It has a lifeguard for much of the year. There are several restaurants including Holloways Pizza and Bamboo Shack. There is a sports club, newsagent, convenience store, launderette and video shop.
