Herbert Louis "Hub" Wagner (September 20, 1904 – August 15, 1992) was an American football coach in the United States.[1]
Coaching career
Wagner was the head college football coach for the Carthage Red Men located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He held that position for 7 seasons, from 1936 until 1942.[2] His coaching record at Carthage was 20 wins, 29 losses and 6 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #5 at Carthage in total wins and #12 at the school in winning percentage (.418).[3] [4]
He died in 1992.[5]
