Ian Maconachie was a Irish badminton player. He was a 6ft 4in Geordie of Irish heritage and was capped so many times for Ireland that the exact amount is unknown. Competed in many All England Championships with the highlight being the 1937 mixed doubles win with Thelma Kingsbury.[1]
