Jackson Lewis P.C. is an American workplace law firm. As of August 2015, it employs around 785 attorneys in 57 offices and is one of the 100 largest law firms in the United States.[1] The firm is also a charter member of L&E Global Employers’ Counsel Worldwide, an alliance of workplace law firms in 20 countries.[4]

History

The firm was founded in New York City in 1958. It opened its second office in Los Angeles in 1977.[5]

Jackson Lewis grew from 120 lawyers in 1990 to 350 in 2006.[1] Between 2006 and 2015, the firm opened 34 new offices. It joined the "AmLaw 100" list of top law firms in 2011.[5]
