Jagapati is a 2005 Telugu Mass film produced by M. Ramalinga Raju, V. Satyanarayana Raju on Roja Enterprises banner, directed by Jonnalagadda Srinivasa Rao. Starring Jagapati Babu and Rakshita in the lead roles, with music composed by M. M. Keeravani.[1][2][3]

Plot

MLA Goud (Pradeep Rawat) is a crooked, cruel & crude person who rules his entire constitution ruthlessly. A Journalist (Chandra Mohan) once writes against MLA Goud in his paper, that why he kills him mercilessly. Murari (Sai Kiran) son of journalist wants to revenge to his father, he makes a perfect to kill MLA. Jagapati (Jagapati Babu), the Inspector of Police of the area, who is an orphan, brought up by MLA Goud whose word is an ordinance to him. Jagapati protects the MLA from Murari’s plan and kills him on the public road.

Lavanya (Rakshita) a newly appointed railway clerk arrives at the town. Jagapati happens to meet Lavanya and she makes him fall in her love. After some time a shocking incident Lavanya is already married, she is none other than the widow of Murari whom Jagapati had killed and she had done all these to take revenge against him. The rest of the story is all about how Lavanya gets Jagapati to reform and go against the MLA.
