Jaitharia

Jaitharia or Jetharia[1] is a clan of Bhumihar community.[2] They are mostly found in the Saran, Muzaffarpur and Vaishali district of Bihar, India.[3]
Origin
[edit]Jetharia clan of Bhumihars has its origins from a Awadhi Brahmin ruler of bhatner (Gangeshwar deo).[4][5]
History
[edit]The rulers of Bettiah Raj belonged to Jaitharia clan of Bhumihar.[6]
