Jayaprithvi (ancient name Chainpur) is a municipality and district headquarters of Bajhang District in the Seti Zone of north-western Nepal. The municipality was established by merging the 5 existing Village development committees, i.e. Rithapata, Chainpur, Hemantabada, Luyanta and Subeda on 18 May 2014.[1][2]
