Jean Leising (born January 10, 1949) is a Republican member of the Indiana Senate, representing the 42nd District from 1988 to 1996 and from 2008 to the present. She was Assistant Majority Whip from 1992 to 1996. Leising authored legislation requiring that women undergo a waiting period before seeking an abortion in Indiana.[4]
