Joe Goddard is an indie British musician and composer. His best-known work includes his time in the English band Hot Chip, which he started with Alexis Taylor. In 2007, he co-founded Greco-Roman as a new record label, which has produced albums by artists such as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Disclosure.[1][2] Goddard has since branched out into the electronica group 2 Bears, and also produced two of his own solo albums.

Career

Goddard is one of the founding members of Hot Chip. Started with high-school friend Alexis Taylor, they released their first album Coming on Strong in 2004. After the album's release, Hot Chip gained three new members: Owen Clarke, Felix Martin, and Al Doyle. Their second album, The Warning, gained the band more mainstream attention.[3]
