John Bizon is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, elected in 2014 and representing the 62nd District.[3]

Early life

Bizon was born in Detroit and raised in Allen Park, Michigan.[1] He earned a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and in 1977, a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine.[1][2][4]

Military career

Bizon served in the United States Air Force, graduating from Flight Surgeon’s school and eventually obtaining the rank of lieutenant colonel.[1][2]

Professional career

Bizon served his first post-graduate year at the Detroit Medical Center.[1] He is an ear, nose, and throat-otolaryngologist, practicing in Battle Creek, Michigan since his retirement from the military.[1][2][5]

Political career

Bizon was elected to represent Michigan's 62nd District in the Michigan House of Representatives in 2014, defeating Andy Helmboldt, following the departure of Kate Segal who was term limited.[3][5]
