The John Pope House, also known as Eastview, is in Burwood, Williamson County, Tennessee. The original part of the house was built of logs circa 1806.[3] It incorporates hall-parlor plan architecture and single pen architecture.
A major landowner, John Pope was also a lay Methodist minister who conducted well-attended camp meetings at locations around the area.[3]
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. When listed the property included one contributing building and one non-contributing structure, on 1.8 acres (0.73 ha).[1] The property was covered in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources.[2]
