John Fernandez Raspado (born February 20, 1981 in Quezon City, a native of Baguio City, Philippines) is a professional online marketing businessman and the current Mr. Gay World Philippines 2017.[1] He speaks both Ilocano, Tagalog and English. He was crowned October 2, 2016 at UP Theater Diliman.[2][3][4][5] Raspado won multiple special awards: Best in National Costume, Best in Talent, Mr. Popularity and Mr. Photogenic. Raspado defeated Pangasinan's Bench Ortiz and Zamboanga Del Sur's Khalil Veracruz; first and second runners up, respectively.

Before Mr. Gay World Philippines, he was the grand champion of ABS-CBN's It's Showtime: I Am Pogay contest.[6] His personal life story was featured in a Lenten TV special of the same network.[7]

Raspado competed for Mr. Gay World 2017 in Madrid and Maspalomas, Spain and won the title on May 10, 2017.
