Joshua "Josh" Heard (born November 29, 1994) is a Welsh-born-Canadian soccer player who currently plays for Real Monarchs in the USL.

Career

Youth and college

Heard played four years of college soccer at the University of Washington between 2012 and 2015.[1]

Heard also played with Premier Development League sides Victoria Highlanders and Puget Sound Gunners.[2]

Professional

On January 19, 2016, Heard was selected 71st overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Vancouver Whitecaps FC.[3] However, he wasn't signed by Vancouver, instead joining United Soccer League side Bethlehem Steel on January 28, 2016.[4] Heard was released by Bethlehem Steel on November 2, 2017.[5]

On February 16, 2018, Heard joined USL side Real Monarchs.[6]
