The station is currently owned by Nevada Public Radio and features programming from American Public Media, National Public Radio and Public Radio International.[2] The station is also broadcast on HD radio.[3]
With 550 watts of effective radiated power,[4] KCNV's main station signal in the Las Vegas valley is substantially weaker than that of its sister station KNPR, which broadcasts at 22,000 watts.
